ETL Developer

iVendi Ltd connects with thousands of automotive dealers in the UK and thousands of consumer car buyers via dealer websites and consumer advertising portals. We provide around 50 million finance quotations each month which provides us with a wealth of data we want to harvest to enable both new product opportunities and informed decision making. Reporting to the VP of Data and Insight, the role will play a key part in helping us develop and grow this exciting new area of the business.

The successful candidate will have experience of data stores such as AWS Redshift or Google BigQuery. The role will involve writing ETL jobs from a mix of SQL and nonSQL datastores including SQLServer, MongoDB and Azure. Experience of working with event based and unstructured data is a must. In addition a key part of the role will be developing a governance framework to monitor and maintain the integrity and performance of the data store.

ON-BOARDING SPECIALIST

This on-boarding specialist position is for a fast growing software company who work in the automotive finance industry, developing market leading products and services to help connect buyers, sellers and finance lenders. They make selling vehicles easier for motor dealers and buying vehicles easier for consumers and have exciting plans for continued future growth.

With products and services in use by thousands of motor dealers across the UK there is a firm commitment and passion to provide the highest levels of customer service and product support on an ongoing basis to all their clients.

Based from offices in Abergele there is now an immediate requirement for an on-boarding specialist to join the company's Customer Services team. You will be a vital part of this customer centric department delivering outstanding service to their clients.

Responsibilities
  • Working in a team responsible for the on-boarding of new customers
  • Ensuring smooth implementation of all products & services sold, ensuring timely and successful delivery of the company's solutions
  • Accurate completion of customer set ups and sales administration.
  • Assisting with technical support requests or escalating issues when required
  • Developing a real understanding of all the technical and business needs in the motor finance industry
  • There will be a requirement to speak to clients so good telephone manner is a must have
Key Skills
  • A proven customer service record and experience in delivering solutions based service
  • Friendly and confident when communicating with excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and changeable environment

CUSTOMER DATA ANALYST

Responsibility for managing the integrity of our customer data set. Analysis and reporting of all data available to the business.

Role of the Finance/BIU department
Provide a complete finance and management information service to the whole of the company, addressing all issues of a finance nature and providing all relevant information to meet external demands. These services may include, but are not limited to, any of the following: reporting, income management, financial reporting to company stakeholders, annual accounts preparation, debt management, HR related matters..

Principal Duties/Tasks and responsibilities
  • Ensuring that customer data is aligned across the different systems currently used by the business.
  • Mapping customers across different lenders and third parties to ensure we have a single customer record.
  • Managing the 3rd party data merges, validating content, and correcting and/or following up potential issues with third parties
  • Proactively identifying new prospects from within our customer data set for new business or marketing opportunities.
  • Working closely with representatives across service, finance, and technology to continually improve the data set and its associated business processes and systems.
  • Establish reports to inform the business on key information.
  • Work with the relevant teams to create one view of all metrics and their relevant data sources and queries.
  • Become the Customer Fulfilment data expert (relevant training will be provided)
  • Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role
  • A certain level of flexibility regarding availability outside normal working hours is required to ensure deadlines are met
Ideal candidate
  • Working with large datasets is a day to day requirement
  • To manage projects, strong organisational skills will be required
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills help you work with teams and individuals around you.
