The rules are that we have to buy a car with a maximum price of £750, choose a fancy dress outfit and drive it all the way to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello and back – a trip of more than 1,500 miles.
On our return, our banger will be auctioned, alongside all the others that took part in the run, at BCA’s Blackbushe centre. All the proceeds will going to BEN, the motor industry benevolent fund.
It sounds like it is going to be huge fun and most importantly, we’ll be raising funds for a very worthwhile cause. Last year, the total was £56,000.
