A new integration between iVendi and CitNOW allows a sophisticated range of finance options to be launched straight from dealer videos.
Vehicle retailers using CitNOW’s Sales App and iVendi’s CONVERT can choose to configure three types of link alongside videos they send to a potential car or van buyer.
The Finance Application allows the customer to apply for finance directly from the video presentation page, the Finance Check to perform a finance soft check to find out for which finance products they may be eligible and the Reservation Tool to reserve the vehicle for a specified period of time, by paying a reservation fee.
James Tew, CEO at iVendi, said that the integration provided benefits for consumer and dealer by making finance options faster and easier to access. It was being made available to customers using both CitNOW and iVendi’s CONVERT. The latter, launched in February, is designed specifically to facilitate the process of transforming initial online consumer interest in a vehicle into a sale.
“Essentially, what we have achieved working with CitNOW is to make the consumer journey slick and easy. It creates a natural flow from the video through to the process of looking at the dealer’s motor finance products, their different providers and the wide range of payment terms available.
“If the consumer likes what they see in the video, they can go straight to the next step in the purchasing process by obtaining a finance check, or making an application or reservation in moments. This works well for both dealer and potential buyer.
James added that the design of the integration also helped to ensure that the finance options presented using iVendi’s technology aided FCA compliance.
“We have created this very much with the FCA in mind. It provides structured and auditable processes that can be easily recalled by the dealer in the event of any form of issue. This should help to protect both retailer and customer.”
CitNOW supplies video and digital communications tools to almost 4,000 automotive retailers - including 92 of the UK’s 100 largest car dealer groups - and 43 vehicle manufacturers.
